On the seaside between Toulon and Le Lavandou, Hyères is the most southerly city of Provence (and one of the sunniest). The city and its peninsula offer 39 km of not concreted coast made by fine sand beaches and by wild rocky creeks.
Charm, exceptional climate and landscape make a site favored in front of Golden islands of Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. The marina with its natural harbour sheltered by Islands is a first-rate nautical center.
The city is also the theater of the international Festival of Mode and Photography which is recognized as a reference event in the domain over the years.
Hyères les Palmers benefits from an idyllic situation and stands out as an excellent starting point for whom wishes to discover the Var and its magic landscapes which inspired so many painters. Having visited the city and its medieval districts, you can take a walk in the landscapes protected from the peninsula of Giens, by playing the tightrope walkers on the coastal paths, between saltworks and coast were cut by creeks bathed by a water in the turquoise blue reflections.
